Who Will Win? (Part 1)
I'm so late with this. There's no great excuse for that, either.
But, to make up for the lack of predictions, I'm going to try to be as un-biased as possible (so expect very little Avatar bashing over here, folks).
Keep in mind that although I did get a good majority of the winners last year (and these Oscars are supposed to be incredibly predictable), there's always one or two upsets along the way. And there probably will be more.

Golden Globes: Film
Predictions for movies get more erratic as the awards season goes on, but at this point a few winners are pretty clear to tell.
Golden Globes: Television!
Sorry for the hiatus. I'm blaming a combination of sickness/laziness/anything that isn't myself.
If you've seen me in real life, you'll notice I usually get much happier/more excited in January, February, and this year, March. Awards season is something that makes me so glad to be an entertainment lover, because I can share my obsessions without people constantly complaining (people actually watch the Oscars for once!). I decided to post my predictions a la Should Win/Would Win posts. I'll do one for television* and one tomorrow for film. So, let's jump in!

The Good Wife + NCIS: Los Angeles
I'll come out and say it.
I love Julianna Margulies. Or rather, her acting abilities. I have no idea what she's like in person, but she's been one of my favorite actresses since I first saw her in the ER pilot (Thank you, reruns on TNT!).

Vampire Diaries + The Beautiful Life: TBL
(Prepare for some comma abuse)
Although I've probably said it before, I'll say it again. The CW =/= quality television. It's just a step below what I like to call "comfort food television," something that CBS is well known for. If you're willing to park yourself in front of the TV for good and enjoyable entertainment, The CW is the place to go.

Emmy Predictions
...I may be a little late in the game, but at least I'm doing this before the actual show begins!
BEST COMEDY SERIES
Entourage
Family Guy
Flight of the Conchords
How I Met Your Mother
The Office
30 Rock
Weeds
I would never be surprised by a 30 Rock win. They dominated the major comedy categories last year, and with more nominations now, a win would most likely be inevitable. However, I'll still be rooting for How I Met Your Mother, which just came off one of its best seasons. Plus, having one of its stars be the choice pick for an Emmy Category AND the host of the entire show may give it some advantage.
