Mild Spoilers! If you haven't seen Greek's season premiere, skip down to the bottom!
Oh, Casey, you are so unbelievably unlucky in love. First, you go and date, according to one of your sorority sisters, a hot geek. I quote: "He was a nerd, but he was hot. It was just so confusing."
That would be the average humor of each joke on Greek. I wouldn't regard it as a guilty pleasure show, but it's definitely not going to be on my favorites list. It's a rather simplistic, kind look at college life. There's nothing truly dramatic going on in this series, which is exactly why it's on ABC Family.
Regarding last night's premiere, the key plot points seemed to be on/off again relationships, breaking promise vows, and failing a class. Not exactly "edge of your seat" programming, but you wouldn't expect that from this program.

You expect fluff. And decent humor. And maybe the occasional "vulgarity." (They're college students? Getting drunk? How Scandalous!) It's good, for the most part clean fun. With its target demo being teenagers and young adults, it fulfills its duties of entertaining them without getting caught up in the seriousness of life.
